sorry it has been so long... keegan has gotten so big... he is fully potty trained i am so proud of him... it only took 3 days this time.. he has been really sick with croup but is starting to feel better. my best friend who has been watching him is getting ready to have 3 surgeries and so keegan will be going to mothers day out at our church and then we will have to find someone to watch him on mondays for a few hours but god has a plan for us... i hope that keegan does well at mothers day out.. will update more later.'

two years ago today on my 28Th birthday we received the call from our adoption agency to ask if they could show our profile book to a birth mom. we prayed about it and agreed for it to be shown then two days later we meet with our birth mom. we were not sure how long it would be until our baby would here. this was an amazing day. our handsome son was born on October 31st 2008. he is the best thing that has ever happened to me. i thank you for him every day. i am proud be called his mommy. he is so smart. he is in my lap taking a nap right now and i have to wake him so we can go and get pictures done at 5 because my baby is turning two in 30 days. i love him so much.. thank you god for my baby....

keegan is now 22 months old and i am sad that he will be turning 2 soon but also happy at the same time. he is doing great on potty training as long as we are not at home. if we are home he is like nope never mind. he is cute. for about 6-7 months he has been asking for a sissy. we keep telling him to ask Jesus and everynight before we go to sleep he ask Esus for a baby sister. it is so cute. he is talking so good and just growing up so fast.we have hit the terrible two phase where everything is NO NO but he has also became a huge mommy's boy these past few months. its good and bad because then he does not want to go with anyone but with mommy. for some reason he does not like going to church i am not sure what this is all about. any help from other mommy's. it breaks my heart every sunday when we drive in the parking lot he starts screaming NO NO NO and then he cries for a while. i just dont know what to do. its been busy. he loves to play pick aboo. we went to the fair last night and keegan wanted to see the moomoos the cows. he loves cows, monkeys, and elmo. he is learning his colors and how to count. he is so smart

we have been so busy since keegan's 1st birthday and i cant believe we are only 4 months away from his 2nd birthday./ he has grown so much. he has had tubes put in his ears and was very sick this last winter with his asthma and congestion. we have are on new meds and have not had a breathing treatment in almost 2 months. he is potty training and he is doing great. we were just going here and there and yesterday when he woke up from his nap it was like night and day he has been going on the potty almost everytime since then #1 &2. we are so proud of him. brian is still in school but is should graduate in may 2011 and then once he gets a job and we are settled into our own place we are going to start the process of adopting our second child and we are so excited.. keegan has been such a blessing to our family. he is super smart loves books, elmo, cows and his bubbles... he thinks its funny to try and help daddy mow with his bubble mower. he is 35 inches tall and weighs 30lbs. he is so handsome. i have started a new job and have been there for almost 3 months and i am loving it. i get to work from home 2 days aweek and keegan and i love every minute together. he is a true momma's boy. he still does not care for TV which i am so thankful for. he would rather have a basket ball or any type of ball. we enjoying the summer and watching our baby boy grow up. have a great summer and i will post pics later.

We had Keegan's 1st birthday party at the moore library. we had so much fun.. Keegan really liked his cake... ( i helped him by putting cake in his face) he just laughed every minute of it. he had icing everywhere but we had fun. he got lots of wonderful toys to play with. here are a few pictures. keegan has blessed us so much we could not even tell you.. oh ya we are totally bottle broke... no more bobbie!!!!! yeah.......... i still can not believe it has been one year. my baby is growing up...

Keegan's pictures for his 1st Birthday.. we took them down town at the Myriad Gardens.. Our wonderful Friend Melicia did them. she did a fantastic job. i still can not believe that it has been almost 1 year. this month is a very exciting month for us. starting with Oct 1st (my birthday) and the day we were called to ask if we had a profile book. i was very hesitant to show because of all the past....i just did not want to get hurt again. we had faith that if this was the baby that God wanted us to have then he would be ours... we called the agency on Oct 2ND i took our profile book to them and they showed it that next day they called and said the birth mom wanted to meet w/us so that Saturday October 4Th 2008 we met with our Birth mom. She is an amazing woman and has lots of courage and she did the biggest selfless thing that a person could do. we thank her everyday in our prayers. we met with her several times before Keegan was to be born. we were not sure of her actual due date but we knew it was in October. i went to doctors appointments with her and was greeted by the nurses very nicely. although we did not like her Dr... (sorry wont give name) he did not believe that a baby should be given up for adoption. well we got our call while at judgement house at our church that she was admitted to the hospital and that they would call once she was closer to delivery. i was a guide so i did not get the call my wonderful husband did. everyone i seen said you need to find your husband.... not telling anymore.... well after the last group which i took through Judgement house i found Brian and he told me the news i about hit the floor.... we called on our way home around 12:00 am and they said go home get some rest we will call you when it s time. well we get home put stuff in the car and just as we went to get in bed the phone rang... she was at 7 and we needed to come... so we went on our way to the hospital when we arrived she was at a 10 not long now... well keegan tried to come before the Dr arrived... this was the best day ever... we had our tiny son in our arms. well Keegan will be one at the end of this month and he is walking, talking and into everything... major climber..... i hope you all have enjoyed our story.. we love you all and thank you for all your prayers....

keegan has grown up so much since he was born 10 months ago. his smile just makes you smile. he is the perfect baby. he is almost walking he has gotten brave and let go and took off but after about 7-8 steps he stops and give you the look like what am i doing... he weighs 26 lbs 30 inches long. we are excited about his birthday party in october on his birthday. he is a little climber he climbes on everything he can possibly climb on.

it has been 3 years since we lost the first baby we were going to adopt. it has gotten easier since we have keegan now. on 7 -27-09 it was a rough day for me but i have a precious baby boy now and i would not trade him for the world. God's plan is amazing. there are days i still wonder how he is what he would look like and is he loved by the family he is with. but i know that he is a child of God and he is being cared for. i just thank God for Keegan and pray for Ayden all the time...

well Lil man is 9 months old and counting.. he has learned he can stand on his own but has not tried to take a step yet... he is so cute... he has this cute little giggle... Brian has been home with him for the last couple of weeks in between school semesters and they have enjoyed themselves. he is talking away. he thinks he is king of the house... he loves to stand on the love seat and play he thinks its funny. he loves to sit in the desk chair and turn he just laughs.. he will sit and watch sports it is so funny. well we go on Tuesday for shots... i hate taking him for shots. i know they need them but really do they have to hurt so bad... he has started laying his head on the floor or on a pillow when he is getting tired. we have started planning his 1st birthday party.. we are so excited but sad to see our little one turn a year old...

well we had a tough time finding out what was wrong with out little man but he is all better once we got the right medicine. he is a happy baby again. he is pulling up and walking along everything. we have a swimming pool in our back yard now and he loves the water. he does not want to be in the baby rings that you are supposed to use. he wants to be out and in the water with Brian and I. he is growing up way to fast. we have our 2 bottom teeth and we are biting... any idea's how to get him to stop biting??????? he weighs 24lbs and is growing. he is almost as tall as my 2 year old niece Hailey. it is so cute when they are together. well have a great weekend. we have 2 baby showers and lots of stuff to get done this weekend.....

well we have been back and forth to the Dr for about a month now. we have had some breathing issues and stomach issues. we have started him on a nebulizer every 4 hours and he hates it. he is so strong and it is so sad to have to give them to him but it will make him better. the Dr said on Friday that our little man has asthma but it may go away as he gets older but its all in gods hands so we will see. we went out to the Zoo this last weekend and he had fun. we put our pool up last week and got in it yesterday for the 1st time and he loved it. he is trying to help me type. i will post pictures soon.

we had a great time on our first family vacation. it was a long drive to Tennessee but we had fun. keegan did really well in the car he slept most of the time but he watched Elmo the rest of the time. we left here on Thursday around 1pm and got there around 930 that night. well we are all good. we went and had keegan's pictures done today they are so cute...

we are leaving tomorrow afternoon for Tennessee to visit some friends. we are excited about the vacation. we are praying that Keegan does well in the car. We are hooking up the DVD players. we are so ready for time away. pray for a safe travel there and safe back.

Christy spoke w/the Dr when i was there and he said that she is on bed rest and staying the in the hospital until baby London is born the Dr really would like to keep baby London in the womb until 30 weeks which will be Wednesday. well i will update w/pictures and about christy and baby London as i find out info..

Keegan has not been feeling well we have made several trips to our family dr but she said nothing was wrong he was just congested and for us to watch it. well the past couple of weeks we have decided to switch dr's. we are seeing dr sigler at baptist... thank you Lori..... over the weekend keegan started running a low grade fever and was really cranky... not at all like my baby.. so i called monday and made dr appt. brian took him in and sure enough he has another double ear infection and his congestion has gotten worse. we are some new meds so please pray that this will work.

we stayed in most of the weekend and all day today. brian stayed home from school with him. Brian is such a good dad....

we go back to the dr on May 7th for our 6 month shots...

oh no,,,, my baby is growing up way too fast. we are six months old and we weigh 21lbs and 14oz.... can not wait to see how long we have gotten. well hey enough for now.. baby is sleeping so i need to do some house work and the check book...

Keegan has the rolling game down to a "T".... he is all over the house under the couch. he has started pulling the blankets over his face but as soon as he does he cries for help... he is holding his bottle all by himself. he is getting so big so fast. he tries to crawl but have not succeeded at that yet. he loves his jumparoo.... we have been busy with life...Keegan weighs 20lbs 7oz at his last visit. we are ready for our vacation in may... we are planning to go to Tennessee to see some friends of ours for memorial weekend... we are excited to have our first family vacation.. well see how he does in the car for an 8 hr drive...

Brian's sister Brenda will be having her baby in may she is on bed rest baby Jonah is trying to come already she is 34 weeks just a few more before he can officially come and be okay... say your prayers for her....

glad it is warming up outside. i can not wait till we can go to the park and zoo and its not windy cold or rainy...

keegan is almost 5 months old. i can not believe my baby is growing up so fast... he was at my best friends yesterday and she called me at work and said guess what your baby boy just did.... he is spoiled so no tellins... she said he just rolled over all by himself from his back to his belly... yeah but sad cause i missed his 1st..... well he would not do it last night when i go over there to pick him up..... well tonight while i was cooking dinner sure enough he rolled over again and i still missed it brian's dad seen it this time.. so i got the video camera out and waited him to roll over... battery was dead!!!!!!! so i ran back to the bed room and got the camera charger.... i finally got it on camera and got to see my big boy roll over.. we are finally starting to feel better... yeah... we have missed a couple of weeks of church and have not done much..

we got a new judge and per the adoption agency is not sure how he wants to handle his cases. this has been a real struggle for me because we are ready to be done with the adoption agency. we found out some news last week that was not good. the news does not have anything to do with finalization or the adoption.

Happy 1st st patty's day little man,

you were so adorable in your little green outfit today. Keegan has been really sick he has thrush,sinus infection and an ear infection.. Lets talk about getting sick all at once... i am just really glad that we did not get the medicine for his thrush that turns his mouth purple.. that would have freaked me out. he has no voice he only has a squeak... it is so sad. i hope he feels better soon. we are excited about our finalization..... thank you all for all your love and prayers.....you all mean the world to our family!!!!!

we will have our finalization on wednesday march 18th 2009. we are so excited to be able to truly now that nothing is going to change or happen after wednesday..we will celebrate " little KIKS day each year on the same day...." keegan is trying to crawl but not there yet we just scoot backwards. we are offically teething and he does not like it... we just want to say thank you all for all your prayers love and support during this time..

okay we have been having car seat issues with Keegan. He does not like the car seat at all he screams the entire time he is in it. well we broke down and bought a portable DVD player for the car and he is quiet in the car.... we can have a conversation with out talking over Keegan crying... He loves moves with lots of color and movement...

i can not believe he is going to be 4 months old soon. he is trying to roll over and sit up. he loves to stand up on mine or Brian's legs or tummy.. Brian has been doing crunches with keegan at night.. keegan just laughs and has a good time.. it is so cute to see the two of them together...

my best friend and her girls are going to be moving home on feb 9th 2009.. we are so excited that she will be moving home. she will be caring for Keegan during the day while i work and brian goes to school.. we are so thankful for her and her friendship. she has rented a house right around the corner from our house... she will be close and we can spend time together...well hey i guess i gotta get ready to leave...gotta go bath the baby..

i can not believe Keegan is 3 months old. The time has really gone by so fast. we are having a blast with him. he loves music... we are so thankful that there is christian baby music.. he loves listen to the music in the car and at bed time. he is such a good baby. he will sleep for about 7 hours at a time if not more. we have been so blessed to have him with us. we are so excited that we only have a week until our last visit and then the big day at court. i am off today to take care of lots of things that need to be done. i have my niece Hailey with me today also. she just loves Keegan. she is trying to help me type. we took Keegan to the OU Womens game last night vs Tennessee at the ford center. he just watched and laughed. he is a true sport. we can not wait till this summer when we go the Zoo and other places. we are planning our 1st family vacation...

it has been nice staying home

i have been off work since Monday afternoon because of the weather... i have enjoyed every last minute of being home with Keegan.. He is just growing.. i just love to sit on the floor with him and watch him play.. i know i have the new mom syndrome.... i love to watch him sleep and everything that he can do.. i can not believe his is almost 3 months old. He is getting so big.. we are preparing for the spring.. i am getting ready to start spring cleaning... watch out Brian and Keegan... i do this each year to get rid of the clutter that we have obtained the previous year... i hope that everyone has enjoyed being home with their families these past couple of cold days... that is all for now.. i am baking cookies!!! yummy!!!

we have all been home the last couple of days. the wonderful snow and ice.. we have enjoyed every minute of it.. Keegan is feeling much better thank you all for your prayers... Keegan has discovered he has a voice and he loves to be vocal. he is not so sure about tummy time yet. he will sleep on his tummy but does not like to lay on he floor on his tummy not even propped up. so we only get little tummy time but we love our back.. he is kicking like crazy and laughing and smiling and just having fun watching basketball on TV. we have taken him to a couple of the OU Men's and women's basketball games and he will just sit and watch as if he really knows what is to be happening. we are ready to have our last visit with the adoption agency that will be on Feb 13Th 2009.... what a day that will be.. also its the day before Valentines !!! being a mom has changed me in good ways. i thank God everyday for the sweet baby boy that he has given to our family. He is incredible.. he is growing like crazy and most of all he is a happy baby. we are excited that Keegan is loved by everyone!!! and is completely spoiled rotten. He is still not to crazy about the car seat not sure how to make him happy there???? any help any advice??????

2nd post placement visit

we had our 2ND post placement visit last Wednesday and it went great. we only have one more in February and then we have our finalization!!! we are so excited about that day.

after our placement visit we went to the ou women's basketball game and took Keegan to his 1st basketball game ever. he did really good with all the noise. we had some older ladies sitting behind us who he liked to look at. keegan met Boomer at the game and he did not cry.

sorry for all the updates today. we have been really busy with Brian starting school my sister having her baby keegan's shower and just life.

today is my niece's 8th birthday and her mommy is at the hospital being induced today to have her baby sister. they really have not settled out on a baby name yet so we will see what they name her. i am home watching both of my sister's girls and Keegan today. we are staying in because it is so cold but later we have to meet Brian at the college to complete all of his final paperwork since school starts on monday. we are so excited that Brian is going back to school!!!

we had Keegan's baby dedication and shower yesterday at church.. it was wonderful. the dedication was perfect. Keegan got dedicated and so did a precious baby girl. Keegan looked so handsome in his little blue sweater. then at 430 our Sunday school class held a baby shower for the three of us. it was perfect . they did a really great job and we are so thankful for each one of them who helped in every little way.Keegan got lots of diapers,clothes, wipes and beautiful hand made blankets. we love blankets in our house. i will post pictures of the dedication and shower later. thank you all for the beautiful baby shower and the love that was poured out for our family over the past 8 years. we love each and everyone of you.

well keegan had his 2ND Dr visit today... we got shots today not fun. keegan did really good. he only cried for a few seconds. he has been really sleepy today. he has been a little congested and not feeling well but the Dr gave us some medicine today so hopefully it will help. my sister did not have her baby today because the hospital was full so she could not be induced. found out my brother and his girl friend are going to have a baby next year. we are excited about keegan's baby shower and baby dedication on Sunday Jan 4Th 2009.

keegan weighs 13lbs 11oz 24 1/4 inches. the Dr said he is a health growing baby boy...

have a happy new year.. we will be sleeping in the new year!!!

we had a great Christmas...on Christmas eve we went to my grandpa's and did our gift exchange!!! keegan got clothes,rattles,cordless baby monitor so that i can watch him sleep... on Christmas day we ate at my grandpa's. we are having Christmas with Brian's family on the 26Th so that everyone can be here. Brian's niece Jessie lives out of state and would not be here for Christmas day so we will have Christmas on Friday... keegan is such a blessing to our family. he is smiling so much more and cooing. he acts like he would like to roll over but he's too little.. we seen some friends today from out of state and they love keegan. he loves to sit up in his boppy and watch TV especially sports!!! i know already hooked on sports...

6 weeks old

keegan has made it to 6 weeks old.. he is a healthy baby. he has started smiling and cooing it is so precious. he made his 1st visit to the nursery today since we were having our Christmas musical at church and i could not hold him during choir. he did good as always but i sure did miss him. we are ready for Christmas. Brian and i have to buy just a few more things and then we are completely done. we went small this year since we have keegan and Brian going back to school. we are so excited about Brian going back to school to get his degree in phys ed. Brian starts school on Jan 12Th... yeahhhhhhhhh!!!! well hey we are so ready for the new year to be here. we want to wish everyone a merry Christmas....... i will post more pics soon. i promise....

this year has gone by so fast. we have not done any shopping very unusual for us i am usually done way before now but we have been a little busy . we have been so blessed with baby keegan. he is our dream come true and an answer to many prayers to our awesome God. God is faithful all the time. we are not liking the cold weather though. keegan does not like to be covered up in the car seat he does not really cry for too long but he lets us know that he does not want to be covered up. well he is still sleeping good and eating well. i can not believe he will be 6 weeks old on Friday.. time is going by so fast. i have the baby shower invitations made and almost ready to be mailed for the shower on Jan 4Th.well hey i hope it warms up soon... have a blessed week.

ohhhhhhh ~~~~~ quick prayer request.. we have a friend who received a call that they might be able to adopt a baby boy in January if the birth mother chooses them. they are a wonderful family.

we have scheduled keegan's baby shower

we are having a baby shower for Keegan Isaiah Konor Schultz on January 4Th 2009.. we are so excited that he is home. he is sleeping very well. he eats well as most boys do.... we are getting ready for Christmas. we are so excited to have him home for the holidays. he is much answered prayer in our family. we are going to have our 1st post placement visit on Tuesday at 430pm. we are so excited that we will be able to finalize in about 3 months.... we are still debating on what Dr to use for him. he will be having his 2 month check up soon. we are going to have a placement party on DEC 15Th 2008 and we are excited to have this and be able to enjoy this time with Nikki. we are still thinking of something to call his big day when he officially becomes a Schultz not that he is not already but when we can change his name and have his birth certificate.... he is starting to smile and make more noises he is so cute... i will post more pics later.. thank you again for all your prayers and love. please pray for a dear friend who just found out she is having a little one and has had many complications in the past.. we pray for God's will during her pregnancy..

KEEGAN IS HOME

WE RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE ADOPTION AGENCY THIS MORNING STATING THAT THE COURT DATE WAS TODAY AND NOT ON THE 9TH AND THAT THE BIRTH FATHER DID NOT SHOW UP. WE ARE SO EXCITED. WE WENT AND PICKED HIM UP AT 330 TODAY. HE IS SO PERFECT AND OURS. WE WILL PROBABLY HAVE OUR FINALIZATION IN ABOUT 3 MONTHS INSTEAD OF 6 SINCE THE TRIBE IS INVOLVED AND THE QUICKER THE BETTER. I AM HOLDING HIM IN MY ARMS WHILE TYPING HE LOVES TO BE HELD BY HIS MOMMY. ITS AMAZING WHAT YOU CAN DO WHILE HOLDING A LITTLE ONE. WE WANT TO THANK EVERYONE WHO EVER SAID A SINGLE PRAYER FOR US AND BABY KEEGAN.WE LOVE YOU ALL AND OUR BIRTH MOM NIKKI. SHE WAS THERE WITH US TODAY WHEN WE WENT AND SIGNED ALL THE PAPERWORK AND PICKED HIM UP. I WILL POST PICTURES LATER OF HIS HOMECOMING CLOTHES. WILL UPDATE LATER....

WELL KEEGAN IS ONE MONTH OLD AND IS GROWING LIKE A WEED. HE IS MORE AND MORE HANDSOME EACH TIME WE HAVE HIM. WE CAN NOT WAIT TILL THE BIRTH FATHER COURT DATE COMES AND GOES AND WE CAN BRING KEEGAN HOME. HE LOVES THE SWING ESPECIALLY WHEN THE MUSIC IS ON.. HE LOVES MUSIC. i received a call today from the adoption agency and they stated that we have a court date for our birth father for Tues DEC 9Th at 10am. we are praying that he will not show to court and then we can bring baby keegan home!!!. we are so excited. we had keegan last night and we were playing with him. we tried to put some of his preemie clothes on him.. totally out grew them. how sad!!! they were so cute. well off to wearing 0-3 month clothes. he just looks around and he loves to hear my voice it seems like he is going to break his neck sometimes looking for me. he is trying to hold his head up. he is starting to grow into his body as weird as that sounds. he is eating about 4oz every 3 hrs. he loves his food. well hey i will post pics from his first bath the other night which he did not like at all. he screamed the entire time.

called attorney today

we still have not heard about a court date for the birth father that says he is going to fight for his rights. so i called the attorney's office today and asked what was the hold up. he was very helpful. he explained to me that since the birth father is Indian or a possibility that he is Indian that he is waiting on a letter from the the tribe and Indian affairs to release the child so that we can proceed with a court date for the birth father. he stated that he has mailed all 3 parties a packet and he is waiting on the certified mail cards to come back. he stated that once he receives them back from the tribe and Indian affairs he has to call them and request that letter. so it could take several more weeks. he said he does understand that we are ready to bring the baby home. he said that once he speaks w/the tribe after he receives the cards back he will go ahead and schedule a court date for the birth father to appear. the attorney said that he does not see the judge giving the baby to the birth father. he said the judge is very good and believes in adoption. well hey just wanted to update. please keep us in your prayers

we went to our 2 week check up today. Keegan is great. he has grown like a weed. he weighs 8lbs 6oz 21 inches long. we really liked his Dr he seen today. he is way in Edmond but that is okay. i will send pictures later. we still have not found out about his pku test but the Dr is calling the hospital to get his records for that test. i will update more later.

birth mom court today

our birth mom went to court today. we are so excited but praying for her. she is so ready for court but it is very hard. we talked on the phone last night for a little while. she just wishes that the birth father would just sign over his rights to the baby. he is on a power trip. we should find out more on Wednesday since everything is closed tomorrow for veterans day. we thank God for all the men and women who have served in the military for our freedom. we can not thank them enough. we had a great time with keegan on Sunday. we picked him up at 8am and took him home at 8pm. we just watched him sleep and eat. it was so nice to have him in our arms and to hold him and to show him off to our wonderful church family and friends who were visiting. we are going to pick him up tomorrow and visit with him for a little while. these times we have with him are so precious. he is becoming more alert and looking around. he is such a good baby. the one thing that he does not like is to have his diaper changed or his clothes changed.i will update on what day our baby shower will be. we were going to schedule for DEC 7Th but i think there is a conflict with the church schedule. well hey i will talk to you later. will post more pics soon.

it has been a crazy week

Monday went well we enrolled Brian in college. Tuesday we seen baby keegan for about 2 hrs he is so precious. on Wednesday we received a call that the birth father was going to sign his rights away and we might be able to bring him home sooner.we were so excited. on Thursday about noon we received a call that the birth father had changed his mind and he is going to fight for the baby again. we were sad but we know that God is in control and that we will be able to bring Keegan home when it is time. we seen baby keegan on Thursday it was a good visit he got to meet his pa for the first time. it was so nice. well its Friday and we still have not heard anymore about the birth father and what our next step is. our birth mom has court on Monday and she is so excited and ready to sign her papers. she is doing much better. we are so thankful for her and her family. Keegan's foster family is doing so good.she is taking lots of pics for us. we are so excited and thankful for her. we were not sure how we would feel about him being in foster care but we are doing okay.will update more later here are some pictures enjoy our bundle of joy

we enjoyed every minute we had with baby Keegan while in the hospital. we are so happy that he is finally here. today we were discharged from the hospital at 1230 and we finally got around and left around 3pm we had to say our good bye's to our birth mom Nikki and she had to have her time with baby Keegan. we miss him so much already it broke our hearts to have to let him go with the foster family but we know that he will be home soon and will be ours to hold and cuddle with everyday. i will post some more pics later. we are very blessed with our son Keegan. he is amazing he sleeps at night and eats every 3 hrs he is a perfect angel. please continue to pray for our birth mom and her court date. she is very set on her decision but it still hurts. please continue to pray for the birth father that he will sign his rights away and make this process go so much faster. Brian is such a good dad. he just loves to watch Keegan sleep. will add pics soon.

we spoke with the Dr again today and he is still maintaing his weight which is wonderful. he is doing really good. we will go home tomorrow. he will go to foster care until all rights have been terminated. we will still get to see him while he is in foster care. both baby and birth mom are good.here are some new pics of the baby

our meeting went good. the family is very nice. no baby yet he is comfortable in the womb. the dr said that he is a big baby. baby keegan will be in foster care for about a month and then we will be able to bring him home. we are scheduled for a c-section on monday but our birth mom is having some serious contactions so maybe he will be born before then. i will put pictures on the blog once he is born. we thank all of you for all your prayers and love.. will update later

we are all going to meet with the foster family that will have baby Keegan while we are waiting for both parents rights to be terminated. we are excited to meet them. we are praying that this will give us more peace about the situation. the birth father that caused the bump in the road has not called back nor has he responded to the paper work that was sent to him. our birth mom Nikki went to the Dr yesterday and baby Keegan is doing great the Dr said that he probably weighs about 9lbs. the Dr said that if baby Keegan does not make his appearance before next Monday we will do a c-section. the birth mom Nikki is very nervous about that. please keep her in your prayers and baby Keegan. we are good just ready to hold baby Keegan. i will post pics of us with our birth mom later. have a blessed week and i will update you all after our meeting with the foster family tonight.

okay we have met with our case worker

she said that everything still looks good for us.they said that the tribe is not going to step in at all since we are not going to do a paternity test. the agency did speak with the birth fathers dad and he stated that they could not pay for a paternity test or attorney. we are just praying for gods will in this situation. the baby will have to go to foster care until the birth father's rights get termed. we have done our home study update. we are still excited but nervous. thank you for all your prayers and encouragement.

we have hit a bump in the road

we meet with the Nikki last night our birth mom. everything was great we had a great time. we received a call from the adoption agency that one of the potential birth fathers wants to contest to the adoption. we will now have to do a paternity test and the baby will have to go into foster care until we get the results and if it does happen to be his baby the tribe will probably take the baby. please pray for peace and understanding for us and Nikki as we are all so upset and don't understand why. i will update more as we know more.thank you all

Brian and i have been working really hard these past couple of days to get the baby room ready.
keegan's room is officially ready for him to come home. we have washed all the clothes that we have for him and hung them in the closet. i can not wait to take pictures of my little man. we did his room in green yellow and brown it is so cute. we are meeting with the agency and the birth mom Nikki tonight she is going to cook us dinner. she goes back to the Dr tomorrow so we will see what the Dr has to say about when he thinks she will deliver our precious little boy. everything has been good. we are still praying that the baby does not have to go into foster care once he is born until Nikki's rights are terminated. she does not want the baby to go into foster care and neither do we. i will update more later. thank you for all your prayers. please continue to pray for us, Nikki and the baby.

we are meeting with our birth mom on thursday evening for dinner. she wants to get to know us better. she still have not made a decision on the family that she wants to adopt the baby boy. she is a very sweet and loving person. we are so blessed to have met with her. we are praying for her and the baby. she has a very hard decision to make and we want her to have peace and comfort when she makes her decision. we will update more as we know more..

We had our meeting with the birth mom today and it went so well. we are so excited about the way the meeting went. we had complete peace with the birth mom and she is comfortable with us. we talked for about 1hr. it was like we were old friends. she should let the agency now by Monday. so keep us in your prayers. this will be some of the hardest 48 hrs that we will have so far in the process. okay i will now tell you the sex of the baby. the baby is a boy!!!!! baby name will be Keegan Isaiah Konor Schultz!!!! we are excited and we have told the birth mom the baby name that we have picked out and she loved it. i will update more later.. look for update on Monday!!!!!!!!!!

we have decided to let the agency show our profile book to the birth mother. i have learned a little bit about her and i am excited. we are praying that if this is the child that God wants us to have in our family that the birth mother will have peace in her decision. the adoption agency said that the birth mom is committed to making this decision of placing her child up for adoption. the agency stated as they know more they will let us know more if we are selected to be the family that she chooses. they stated that the birth mom could make the decision tonight or tomorrow. please keep us and the birth family in your prayers. we do no know what the baby is but we are not sharing that information at this time. we are meeting with mike our mentor tomorrow. he is so excited in the way that God has been working in our lives these past few months. if you would like to have more you can call my cell 625-0906 or email me: triciaschul00@hotmail.com.

we went and watched the movie fireproof as a church/class. it was a wonderful movie i recommend that all married couples watch the movie. you will learn things that you really did not realize could happen in your marriage or with your friends and their marriage. they could not have picked a better actor then kirk Cameron to play the fireman in the movie. several of us went to Denny's after the movie and we talked for several hours about the movie. well hey that is all now.

my wreck

i had a wreck yesterday. everything is okay. my car has almost $1000.00 worth of damage it was not my fault.

on the adoption i am mailing our home study update info into the agency tomorrow. we are excited about starting the process with another agency. both of the agencies have been very nice and helpful.

i am feeling better. my sister has quit her job and is staying home with the girls now so i don't have the girls every night. i miss them.

we are starting soccer this next weekend at our church and our church is having our annual women's conference also.

WELL WE CELEBRATED OUR 8YR ANNIVERSARY IT WAS GREAT..SINCE MY BIRTHDAY IS 2 WKS FROM OUR ANNIVERSARY WE ALWAYS DO MY GIFTS TOGETHER. BRIAN CALLED AND MADE ME AN APPOINTMENT AT A SPA TO HAVE A MASSAGE AND A PEDICURE. WELL WE ARE DOING ALL THE PAPER WORK TO UPDATE OUR HOME STUDY. WE HAVE DECIDED TO GO THROUGH CATHOLIC CHARITIES IN TULSA. WE ARE SO EXCITED ABOUT A NEW START ONCE WE GET OUR HOME STUDY UPDATE WE WILL THEN MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO GO TO TULSA AND MEET THE VERY NICE LADIES THAT HAVE BEEN HELPING US AND THEN WE WILL BE WAITING AGAIN. WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT THIS WAIT WE TRULY BELIEVE THAT WE WILL BE PARENTS SOON. EVERYTHING IS GOOD. I HAVE STARTED SOME NEW MEDS TO HELP ME SLEEP AND WITH MY ANXIETY ATTACKS.

we are still looking for an adoption agency. we are at the time of updating our home study.. a few months ago we asked for our info to be transferred to another agency and once the other agency received our stuff we received a letter stating that they were not taking any new families. we have contacted the agency that we thought we were still with and since we were adding other agencies to our profile they took us off their waiting list. so i am going crazy trying to find someone to update our home study since we don't have an agency. i have called so many places and they want us to sign a contract with them and their agency fees are way too expensive for us. we have been looking at an agency in Tulsa who says they can not come down and do our home study due to the travel since we are 1.5 hr away..

i was challenged 2 weeks ago to not restrict God of what age of child that Brian and i adopt. i have been looking a few older children but i think i am doing good and then i am talking to some and they believe with all their heart that we will get a baby so i then go back to say okay God i really want a baby. we have decided that we would like to have a baby boy.. Brian thinks they are less drama and less expensive... ha ha Brian is high maintenance!!! i will continue to pray for what ever sex of the child God desires us to have.

Brian and Jeremy have started dodge ball and getting ready to start soccer at our church it is welcome to everyone.. if interested you can call us and we can get you in contact with someone.

my sister still does not know what she is having the baby would not let her sneak a peak at the ultrasound.. i truly believe she is having another baby girl...

okay we had a meeting with mike and it went well. he has given me a bigger challenge than before. this one is really hard for me. he has challenged me not to restrict God in the age of the child that we adopt. i am pretty set in my ways and i really want a baby,but mike said that i should let God handle the age of the child that Brian and i adopt.we know that God will not give us more than we can handle. i opened my email today and i read an email from k-love like i do everyday and today it really hit home..
encouraging word from k-love today---
why am i discouraged? why is my heart so sad? i will put my hope in God! i will praise him again!!1 my savior and my God!!! psalm 42:11

okay i know that i should not restrict God and i have tried giving it to God. i am just not a very patient person.

still searching for an agency

We are still searching for a new adoption agency to go through. we have contact more agencies this week we are waiting on the packets to arrive to read through and pray about who we will go through. we are waiting on mike to arrive back from mexico. mike is a wonderful man who is going to mentor us through this process since we really have no agency help. we have had a great time getting to know mike and meet his family. he has been such a blessing to us both. thank you mike.

what to do and not to do

God closes doors no man can open & God opens doors no man can close. God is amazing and always faithful.

we are still struggling on what to do but we are trusting God that we are following his will and his direction. God has closed some doors for us lately that have been kind of hard but it was worth it. We were considering an adoption agency and they are not excepting new adoptive families at this time.

we are specifically praying that God will tell us if we need to pursue the adoption at this time or wait till Brian is finished with school.God's will and direction is always perfect no matter what.

i love my new job and i have been there for 6 months

yeah Monday will be 6 months since i have started my new job. i am excited to have a job that i love getting up and going to each day. some days are stressful but what is not in life.

Brian and i are really praying about where god will lead us in this journey of our adoption. Brian goes and meets with the school counselor on august 15th at 3pm to see what all he still has to do to complete his degree.

God is amazing and he has blessed us with such great friends and prayer warriors. we have been so blessed to have so many friends who have adopted their children or have had infertility problems who have encouraged us through this journey. we want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone.

summer is great. i love the warm. i ask that you pray for my health i have been having some minor problems but i think it all has to do with stress but only GOD knows what the problem is.
my sister is doing better she is still having a high risk pregnancy but we are just praying for a healthy baby and pregnancy.

ABOUT TO GO CRAZY

WE ARE ABOUT TO CRAZY LOOKING FOR A NEW ADOPTION AGENCY AND PATH. WE HAVE CONTACT ABOUT 20 ADOPTION AGENCIES AND THEY ALL WANT 20-30 THOUSAND DOLLARS TO ADOPT A CHILD. WE HAVE BOTH AGREED THAT WE WILL NOT GO INTO DEBT TO HAVE A CHILD IN OUR HOME. WE HAVE EVEN CONTACTED AGENCIES IN OTHER STATES. WELL PLEASE JUST KEEP US IN YOUR PRAYERS.

two years ago today we lost our baby boy ayden. it still gets to me when i think about it. we know that god has that perfect baby for us. we receive a package from catholic charities today and they stated that they are not excepting new adoptive families at this time. i know that god shut that door for a reason but it is hard to grasp. i felt like we were going some where. we have been on the Internet so much lately looking at other adoptions agencies. this is really starting to make me wonder if we are following Gods path. well hey i will talk to everyone later.

my niece is 13 months and she just started walking. she is still a little unsteady but she is doing it we are so proud of her.

AGENCY HUNTING AGAIN

WE HAVE HAD NO LUCK WITH THE BAPTIST CHILDREN'S HOME. WE HAVE STARTED SEARCHING FOR A NEW AGENCY TO HANDLE OUR ADOPTION. WE ARE PRAYING ABOUT WHERE GOD WOULD HAVE US GO. WE HAVE SENT OUR INFORMATION TO CATHOLIC CHARITIES. WELL HEY WE ARE GOOD. I AM LOVING MY JOB.BRIAN IS GOING TO DO A SOCCER LEAGUE AT CHURCH ( I THINK). BRIAN IS GOING TO START SCHOOL IN JANUARY FULL TIME (YEAH!!!!). WELL HEY ENOUGH FOR NOW .

i hate car shopping

well we are car shopping... my sister was driving Brian's car on Friday and got into an accident and Brian's car is messed up really bad. we have to take Brian's car to the body shop for an estimate.we are thinking that his car is toast.. well hey please pray for this process we hate car shopping. we were 5 months away from having his car paid off. what is god's plan??? well for the ones who new about our trip to Virginia and the birth mom we went to meet we will not be adopting her baby in July she has decided to go through an agency out there and there fees are crazy. that is all for now

WE ARE STILL WAITING ON THE NEWS THAT WE HAVE A BABY TO BRING HOME!! GOD HAS THE PERFECT PLAN AND WE HAVE TO BE PATIENT... IT HAS BEEN VERY HARD THESE PAST FEW WEEKS . MY SISTER WHO I LOVE FOUND OUT SHE IS PREGNANT BUT IS HAVING SOME COMPLICATIONS.. PLEASE PRAY FOR HER AND THE BABY. SHE IS ONLY ABOUT 8 WEEKS ALONG. MY SISTERS BOYS HAVE MOVED TO MCALESTER TO LIVE WITH THEIR DAD AND I HARDLY GET TO SEE THEN. WHEN WE WENT TO VIRGINIA AND WE GOT TO SPEND TIME WITH MY BEST FRIENDS GIRLS IT BROKE MY HEART TO LEAVE THEM BECAUSE I DON'T GET TO SEE THEM EXCEPT WHEN THEY COME HOME TO VISIT. MY FRIEND ANITA AND HER HUSBAND MOVED TO TENNESSEE WITH THEIR LITTLE GIRL WHO I ADORE.. I MISS THEM TOO. I AM JUST FEELING LIKE ALL MY FRIENDS ARE MOVING AWAY. I KNOW THAT GOD HAS THIS AMAZING PLAN FOR BRIAN AND I PLEASE JUST PRAY FOR US DURING THIS TIME. BRIAN WILL BE GOING TO SCHOOL FULL TIME SOON!!! YEAH !!! WELL HEY ENOUGH FOR NOW..

OUR WONDERFUL TRIP

hey we made it home safe and sound. we had a great time in Virginia. we got to visit with my best friend and her girls. we went to Virginia beach and had great time we walked along the beach and the girls rode rides. on Sunday we drove up to Washington dc what an amazing beautiful place to visit. we walked and walked. we were so tired.we are so glad to be home.

please continue to pray for brian as he prepares to start school. maybe sooner than expected but we are following God's plan.
