she said that everything still looks good for us.they said that the tribe is not going to step in at all since we are not going to do a paternity test. the agency did speak with the birth fathers dad and he stated that they could not pay for a paternity test or attorney. we are just praying for gods will in this situation. the baby will have to go to foster care until the birth father's rights get termed. we have done our home study update. we are still excited but nervous. thank you for all your prayers and encouragement.

OKAY GREAT NEWS!! This happens ALL the time with adoption, but it's still very scary. Has the birthfather been around her entire pregnancy? Can he provide for the child? He will have to prove that he can provide, etc for the baby. We will cont. to pray that God will smooth the way and the baby will NOT have to be in foster care, but if so that it will only be for a short period of time. God is MUCH bigger than a paternity test and foster care. He will make a way...hang in there! No one said adoption was easy by any means, but it's WELL worth it in the end.
